Social Care CEOs Tackle Staffing, Investment and Demand at Care Management Show

We started our morning at the Care Management Show where the conversations felt more urgent than ever. Emerging from the 2025 Autumn Budget, the UK social care landscape remains under immense pressure, with funding gaps, workforce shortages and increasing demand dominating industry concerns.

MAIN PHOTO: Against this backdrop, the Social Care CEO Panel, hosted by Connell Consulting’s CEO, Clare Connell, offered timely insight into what comes next. The session brought together sector leaders CEO Sam Monaghan of MHA Care Homes, CEO Aneurin Brown of Hallmark Care Group and CEO, Nitesh Somani of Kara Healthcare to unpack the realities of investment, staffing, and building a culture where success can still thrive.

The discussion centred on three pressing themes:
• Investment in staffing: how providers can attract and retain talent despite financial and operational pressures
• Expanding services to meet demand: the need for flexible, responsive models of care as the population’s needs continue to grow
• Embedding a success culture: why leadership, collaboration, and innovation are essential to navigating the years ahead

A huge thank you to HealthInvestor and Caring Times for supporting such an important discussion at a crucial moment for UK social care.
